WE REALLY LOVE OUR BIRDS!
YOU’LL REALLY LOVE THEIR EGGS!

Our chickens and ducks are:

- Offered organic grains and fresh fruits and veggies.

- Given plenty of free range foraging in meadow and forest.

- Never subject to artificial light to encourage abnormally high laying

rates. We think they deserve a rest.

- Never subject to forced molting. They know best when that ought to

be done.

- Never culled. They are welcome to live their natural lives here on our little

farm.

- Never beak tipped. (Ouch!)

- Hatched on our farm, are purchased through ethical breeders, both in

husbandry and in their relationship to nature, or are rescues.

- Allowed and encouraged to go broody. We think chicks should be

raised by a Momma hen.

Our chickens and ducks are a bunch of different colors and sizes, and so are their eggs! From the darkest brown to snowy white, blue and green, and sometimes even speckled, large and small, (but not too small!) each collection is a unique representation of the day’s offering.
